TC3Sim VR Combat Medic Trainer

From late 2018 to 2021, I worked as the project manager integrating haptic feedback into Army Medical Training via the TC3Sim Project by Engineering & Computer Simulations (ECS) for Army Research Laboratory in Orlando Florida. My involvement was:

  • Managed haptic integration project for HaptX participation in BAA for Army Research Laboratory and SBIR with Defense Health Agency
  • Wrote portions of and reviewed funding submissions for successful BAA and SBIR funding proposals
  • Conducted user testing with Army Medics from multiple branches of the Armed Forces, including a week-long trial in San Antonio Military Medical Center
  • Worked with content developers within HaptX and at ECS to prioritize features and implement recommendations from end-users
  • Demonstrated product at I/ITSEC in 2019 and 2020
