Actuator Life Testbed
I designed and built two actuator life testbeds for measuring actuator performance and conducting fatigue life testing.
- Designed, built, and programmed multi-channel life tester for a haptic device
- Sourced force, position, and pressure sensors, and pneumatic actuators, solenoid valves
- Prototyped controller using PLC Ladder Logic, implemented in C++ on P1AM microcontroller
- Wrote custom Excel/VBA software to automate data collection using Rigol Oscilloscope, format data, and produce automated test reports
