HaptX DK2 Development
While working as the Director of Technical Operations at HaptX, we launched a new product called the HaptX Gloves DK2. Which was the most advanced haptic device for enterprise-grade haptic simulation. The launch was very successful and the product is still the most advanced haptic feedback device on the market.
My involvment was:
- Managed the R&D facility and hired technicians and engineers.
- First inventor of the patent pending force feedback actuator system used on the HaptX Gloves DK2
- Created prototypes, tested, and conducted detail design on force feedback actuators and back-of-hand glove mechanical systems
- Participated in mechanical and software design reviews for the development of the HaptX Gloves DK2
- Wrote server-side software for collecting user analytics on HaptX gloves
- Created customer support procedures and user manual for HaptX Gloves DK2
